Yes, we are registered on the voluntary register with Ofsted. *Venue dependent*.

Can I pay for Pop-Up Sports Holiday Camps using Childcare vouchers?

Childcare voucher facilities depend on the specific venue - the full eligibility and instructions will be given for each course. After you receive a confirmation email of the booking, the details will be forwarded to your local area office who will contact you with the details needed to release the payment.

What do I need to pack for my child during a day at holiday camp?

We ask that all children attending a Pop-Up Sports Holiday Camp come with a suitable PE kit, including trainers for sports. Please also bring a full lunchbox with plenty of food and water to keep them fueled and hydrated for the whole day. In the Summer months, please ensure that you pack high factor sun cream to use throughout the day. Note: *Please do not pack any items containing nuts, as other children attending may have severe nut allergies.

What happens if I am late to collect my child(ren)?

Our typical hours of opening are (currently) 8:30am–5:00pm, Monday to Friday.

Please ensure you pick up no later then 5:00pm. If you are running a few minutes late then please call ahead on 07429603555 so that we can pre warn your child(ren).

 

If a child is collected later than 5:00pm, we reserve the right to charge a late collection fee of £5 for every 15 minutes as staff will have to stay later to complete their other duties so will need to be paid.

Of course, we understand that circumstances are sometimes out of your control – we just ask that you keep us informed. In return, we will keep your child safe and entertained until you can collect them

 

What happens if a child is showing symptoms of Covid-19 whilst attending camp?

All members are asked to declare that their household is showing no signs of Covid-19 symptoms prior to attendance. Our staff are trained on the symptoms of Covid-19 and will isolate the child and call their parents for collection.

I've not yet booked, should I wait until nearer the time to see if camp definitely goes ahead?

To ensure we can observe social distancing and due to our Bubble System, our total numbers on camp have been reduced, so we advise to book as soon as you can to guarantee your place.

If we (Pop-Up Sports) have to cancel our camp, you’ll be entitled to a full refund via the method you paid.

My child has a medical condition – can they still attend?

We trust that you will give us as much information as possible about any medical condition your child has before camp starts – please share full details on your account at the time of booking.

All information will remain confidentially held at your venue. For further information, please read our Additional Needs Policy.

What happens if my child has an accident?

Bumps and scrapes happen from time to time.

Each camp has at least one first aid qualified coach who can make an assessment, deliver first aid and ensure your child is okay.

Whenever first aid is administered, a form will be completed detailing exactly what happened and the action taken – and this will be discussed with you at the end of the camp day. If a more serious incident or accident occurs, we will contact you immediately.
